Hated the whole experience
I arrived five minutes early for my appointment, and was told my hairdresser would be ready "in a minute." About halfway through my 25-minute wait, I received the same message. When I arrived at her station, my hairdresser was completing the highlighting foils of her previous client. Without mentioning her tardiness, she asked what I wanted and studied the photo I offered. She asked, "Cutting it short?" although the photo was shoulder-length. I replied, not short, shoulder length. Fearing at any minute that she would have to check her previous customer, I let my instructions go at that. BIG MISTAKE. My hair is barely long enough to go around hot rollers. It is barely collar length and is cut in layers to resemble a football helmet. Just before she spun me around to view the damage, another hairdresser asked where her previous client (the one with hair foils) was. My hairdresser replied, “Oh she got here late, so I put the foils in and told her she could go home and wash them out in 20 minutes.” If she had told me that she was not working on both of us at the same time, I would have felt free to discuss the cut in more detail. As it is, my hair is ruined. The layers she cut into the back will not grow out for at least a year. AVOID Bellissimo.
